This 10-week course is tailored to those who are new to yoga and wanting a slower and comprehensive introduction to yoga or those that have taken a break from yoga and in need of a refresher course. You will be introduced to yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

Investment: $160 for 10 classes over 10 weeks. Includes a comprehensive manual PLUS a Yoga Mat PLUS a complimentary 2- week pass for unlimited Drop- In Hatha Yoga classes to be used immediately after the Yoga for Beginners course PLUS 10% off your first 5 or 10 class pass or the option to purchase a Yoganic Membership for $99 for unlimited classes in 1 month if purchased within these 2 weeks.
Suitable for: Those who are brand new to yoga or those that have had a break from yoga and are in need of a refresher course. This course is also suitable for those that have an injury, are chronically stiff or are looking for a way to get back into yoga after birth.

Yoga Bridging Course
This 3 week course will allow you to further deepen your knowledge and experience the 5 essential groups of yoga postures in a safe and supportive environment. Each week will explore a new topic including: Standing poses, Twists & Forward Bends, Backbends, Balances and Inversions (upside down poses) whilst developing strength, flexibility and alignment. This course is especially designed to prepare you for our Drop- In Hatha & Yin Yoga classes.

Suitable for: Anyone who has completed a Yoga for Beginners course at Yoganic and is not quite feeling ready to join the open Hatha and Yin Yoga classes or anyone with prior yoga experience who has taken a break from yoga and is looking for some motivation to kick off their Yoga practice.

How do I book?
To book your place, please click here. Full payment is required upon booking.
What do I need to bring?
If you have signed up for a 10- week Yoga for Beginners course, you will receive a mat. If you forget your mat, you may hire a mat for $1 per class or purchase one for only $25. We also suggest you bring a water bottle to re- hydrate yourself. We recommend stainless steel water bottles such as Cheeki, ECOtanka & Sigg which are all BPA free, non- toxic, re- useable and therefore, kind to the environment and your health.
What do I wear?
We recommend you wear comfortable, stretchy clothing and bare feet. Change rooms are provided. Personal belongings can be stored in the pigeon holes in the yoga room.
What if I'm not flexible?
Then Yoga is just the thing for you! Many people think that they need to be flexible to do Yoga, but that's like thinking that you need to be able to swim to take swimming lessons. You will find that your flexibility will improve over time with practice and patience. The Introduction to Yoga course is a good place to start.
What if I have an injury?
The Introduction to Yoga course sizes are limited to 12 people to ensure that each student receives lots of person attention to deal with individual requirements. Our teachers will show you how to modify the postures to assist healing, preventing further damage and to help manage your pain. Yoga is a form of therapy has been proven to assist with back, neck, shoulder, wrist and knee pain. Many yoga teachers were introduced to yoga when they suffered an injury. For example, Melissa our Studio creator came to yoga after it helped her to recover from chronic back pain suffered after being hit by a car as a pedestrian.
What if I'm pregnant?
We recommend that you join one of our 8- weekly Pregnancy Yoga or Pilates classes which are tailored to the pregnant woman's changing body.
What if I miss a class?
You may attend a make up class on an alternate day (Monday 7.45pm or Sunday 5.30pm) OR one of the Open Hatha classes on the timetable within the term that you're enrolled in.
Can I take advantage of the Intro Offer: $33 for 3 classes in 3 weeks?
You cannot use this offer for the Intro to Yoga course but on completion of the course, you may purchase this offer as an Introduction to our Open classes.
What are my options once I have completed the Yoga for Beginners course?
Upon completion of the Yoga for Beginners course you will receive
a complimentary 2- week pass for unlimited Drop- In Hatha Yoga classes to be used immediately after the Yoga for Beginners course PLUS 10% off your first 5 or 10 class pass or the option to purchase a Yoganic Membership for $99 for unlimited classes in 1 month if purchased within these 2 weeks. After this
you may decide to repeat the Yoga for Beginners course or you may enrol in the Hatha Yoga Prep which is especially designed to prepare you for the Drop- In classes. |
