Birthlight Baby Yoga Diploma

Course Overview
Baby Yoga refers to a diversified set of gentle interactive practices between a baby and a caring adult for enhancing the wellbeing and development of the baby from birth to the third year. The birthlight Baby Yoga course was developed by the Founder and Director of birthlight, Francoise Barbira Freedman, who was inspired by her experience of living with forest people in the Amazon region of Peru, her research background in medical anthropology, and most of all, as a mother of 4. The Baby Yoga Diploma course trains teachers to facilitate the mutual enjoyment of parents and babies and creative play between them, with all the health benefits that are derived from these harmonising practices.

Course Structure
The course consists of three modules:
First Module, Part 1: 3 Days. For more information on Part 1, please click here
The second module is self-practice over a period of approximately six months. During this time students assimilate the contents of Part 1 and set up their own practise classes, completing course work, as well as observing other teachers in their areas.
The third module, Part 2 : 2 days. The course includes a detailed review of students' coursework and teaching experiences, followed by tuition on yoga for mobile babies, babies with Special Needs, Tinies and more "advanced moves". For more information on Part 2, please click here
