It is important for
Employers to recognise work-related stress
as a significant health and safety issue.
Work-related stress accounts for the longest periods
of absenteeism. The total cost of workers compensation
claims for stress-related conditions is estimated
at over $200 million every year. Our in- house
Yoga classes can help to alleviate the
common symptoms of stress including tension
headaches, a drop in work- performance, insomnia,
lack of motivation and focus and absenteeism.
Our classes also educate participants on how to
reduce or eliminate symptoms associated with prolonged
sitting and computer related activities including
back and neck pain, strain injuries from
repetitive tension or motion, such as mouse work
and eye fatigue, blurred vision or headaches
from glare or inadequate lighting.
The following table demonstrates how Yoganic can

office (or off- site) either before or after work
or in your lunch break. You have the choice between
Ashtanga
Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa
Flow & Ki

Classes can be held in a multipurpose space in

for rainy days is essential).
Participants can either bring their own Yoga mat,
purchase one from us, or if parking is provided
we can supply mats. |

Classes can either be self- funded by the participants
or your Company may agree to subsidise the full amount
or make a contribution. If your Company agrees to subsidise
the classes, they can opt to pay a flat rate and therefore
a minimum number of participants is not required. If
the classes are self- funded, you will need a minimum
of 10 people. We recommend participants make a contribution
to encourage a greater sense of responsibility and personal
investment in their health and wellbeing. Classes cost
as little as $7 pp or as much as $14pp per class. Please

We offer 3 dynamic styles of Yoga:
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga involves synchronising the movement
of the body with the breath through a progressive series
of postures including a dynamic flowing sequence known
as a Sun Salutation as well as standing, balancing &
seated postures, including twists and backbends that
build strength, improve flexibility, detox the body
and clear the mind. In a traditional Ashtanga Yoga class
you will experience a set series of postures and therefore
you will be able to track your progress and overtime
with practise, move deeper into the postures.
Ashtanga is suitable for every body! Modifications are
offered for each posture to cater for beginners, the
injured, the stiff and the more experienced. Each week
new postures will be introduced building upon those
explored in the previous week and finish with a guided
relaxation. By the end of the course, all participants
will be familiar with a set series of postures and will
have the knowledge to intensify or modify each posture.
Vinaysa Flow
Similar to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in the sense that each
movement is synchronised with each breath encouraging
deep focus and concentration. Whilst Ashtanga Vinyasa
is a set series of postures, there are no fixed series
of postures in Vinyasa Flow. Each class may be similar
in nature but will have a different focus each week
including, moving with the breath, twisting, balancing,
forward bending, back bending, opening the hips, arm
balances and building core strength. Alternatively,
we can explore 1 topic over 8 weeks, introducing new
postures each week so that you become familiar with
a sequence. Vinyasa Flow will stretch, strengthen and
open your body & mind leaving you feeling invigorated.
Ki Yoga
Ki Yoga is a dymanic and energising blend of Indian
Hatha Yoga, the meridian based healing arts of China
and Japan, Macrobiotics and Food as Medicine knowledge.
We focus on building strength in the "hara"
or inner core and the lower back, as well as increasing
cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility. Ki
Yoga classes are tailored to bring the body/mind into
alignment with the changing seasons so classes are constantly
flowing and evolving with new movements. Ki yoga is
suitable for all levels of fitness, flexibility and
experience.

Our 30, 45, 60, 75 or 90 min Yoga Programs are ideal
for Conferences, Team building activities or as a staff
incentive or reward. Yoganic will provide the mats for
these one- off sessions.
Conference Yoga
A Yoga class in the morning prepares delegates
physically and mentally for the day ahead and
an afternoon session re-energises delegates for
the evening's activities.
Team-Building
Yoga is a fun and healthy team-building exercise.
Try a traditional Yoga class or a fun sequence
of partner based Yoga postures which not only
have the regular benefits of yoga, but also promote
trust, communication and teamwork between individuals.
