Our Yoga for Beginners series will introduce you to yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Each week there will be a new focus in which the classes are themed around from Sun Salutes to Supported Inversions. Upon completion of this series you will have the confidence to attend our Yoganic Yoga classes.
Each week is a new beginning, you can start anytime along the 10 week cycle:
Week 1: Breathing and linking movement with the breath (vinyasa)
Week 2: Sun Salute A
Week 3: Finding your Ground: Standing Postures
Week 4: Sun Salute B
Week 5: Forward Bends and Hip Openers
Week 6: Twists
Week 7: Balancing
Week 8: Backbends
Week 9: Intro to Inversions
Week 10: Integration
Mondays 8- 9.15pm
Thursdays 8- 9.15pm
- w/c July 17 and then start anytime. Check Facebook for theme of the week.
$190 for 2 classes per week over 10 weeks.
those who are new to yoga and wanting a slower and comprehensive introduction to yoga, those who have taken a break from yoga and are in need of a refresher course, those wanting to focus on technique or women looking for a way to get back into yoga after birth.
