Pregnancy and early motherhood is a special time in your life. Exercising during pregnancy and post-birth has many benefits including relaxation, building strength and maintaining flexibility. Our pregnancy and postnatal classes are designed to cater to your changing body and help prepare you for birth and beyond. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with our community of local mums and mums-to-be.
At Yoganic – mums are our business. We currently offer 10 pregnancy classes a week and 8 postnatal/mums & bubs classes. Our classes are small and all our instructors have pregnancy and postnatal training. We also work closely with physiotherapists if you have any diastasis recti or pelvic dysfunction issues.
We’d love you to come and try a free* class at our Open Day on Sunday December 1. Choose from Yoga, Pilates, Barre or Outdoor Training. We also have a Mindful Birth Session with Mindful Birth Co-Founder Michelle Papa. She’ll answer some of your questions around mindfulness and birth, and will teach a few breathing techniques and yoga nidra to help facilitate calmness and relaxation. Vanea Atwood, Women’s Health Physiotherapist for Sports Focus Physiotherapy in Northbridge, will also be presenting on exercise during pregnancy and returning to exercise after birth.
