With the Coronavirus situation changing daily, I just wanted to update you on what’s happening with the studio and in particular the timetable.

Firstly, thank you to everyone for embracing hand washing, hand sanitising, prop cleaning and not coming to class ill. Myself and the team really appreciate your cooperation and support.

Yoganic will remain open – unless we are instructed to close. This is a tough time for small businesses like ours as well as for individuals and we all really appreciate your support at the moment.

As you know, exercise is amazing for physical and mental health. We would like you to still be able to come to classes and our teachers to keep teaching, but we will need to reach class minimums for classes to go ahead. This means 2 people booked for reformer or 3 people for all our other classes. Classes that do not meet minimum numbers will be cancelled 2 hours prior or 9pm the night before for 7am classes. Please check you are subscribed to have schedule updates.

We are trialling live streaming tomorrow night with Evening Yoga – if this is successful, we hope to have the option available by the weekend of booking in to yoga, ballet or Pilates mat classes through MINDBODY and joining from your phone, tablet or laptop from home.

In addition to all the cleaning and hygeine measures we have already introduced, we have reduced the numbers in our yoga, mat and barre classes to 8 (in the studio) temporarily to facilitate social distancing. All yoga classes will be 60 minutes for the near future to help facilitate our live streaming. We will also not be doing hands on adjustments/corrections – please bear with us if we temporarily forget, this is a really big change for us in the way we teach.

As you would expect, class numbers are down and we have had to cut a few classes. Tuesday 9:30am yoga, Tuesday 11am mums and bubs yoga and Wednesday 10:30am mums and bubs barre have been cancelled. Friday 11am mums and bubs yoga is still on and during this period we are happy to accomodate you (and your baby) in our Wednesday morning Barre Attack class (which moves to 9:45am from next week).

We have heard many mother’s groups are cancelled and are discussing doing an online mother’s group – if this is something that you’d be interested in – please reply to this email and let me know.

We are also planning on having a video on demand platform available in the next few weeks, we will let you know further details hen it’s available.

Thank you again from me and my team for your support over this difficult period. I know it is an incredibly challenging time for everyone.

Libby xx
