Help - I’m new!

  • Don’t worry - we have a lot of barre clients (and some barre teachers!) who’ve never danced.

  • Yes you can - provided your physio hasn’t ruled out barre classes. Just make sure you have a chat to the teacher at the beginning of class as you will need to make some modifications.

  • To join mums & bubs classes you must have had your 6/8 week check with your midwife/doctor and be cleared to exercise.

    If your baby is under 6 months old, or you are just returning to exercise after your baby or you physio has recommended postnatal classes - you need to attend our mums & bubs classes. Once you are attending classes regularly, you can discuss with your teacher whether other classes are appropriate.

Our classes

  • Barre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from dance, Pilates, and yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body.

    Barre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilising the barre and props such as soft balls, therabands, sliding discs and handweights.

  • Barre combines dance, Pilates and stretching to give you a cardio workout with lot of strength work. Using props such as balls, bands and discs, mums and bubs barre will focus on rebuilding your strength, whilst giving you a cardio workout and having fun!

    Our mums and bubs classes are for non-mobile babies. Please bring a blanket/toys for your baby. We have a limited number of baby bouncers available in the studio to use, so please bring a mat for your baby. You might also like to bring a baby carrier.

    All postnatal clients must have clearance to exercise from their midwife or doctor.
